About Mr. Weaver:
I am originally from Ann Arbor, MI and got my social studies degree from
Eastern Michigan University in 2004.
I am in my 8th year teaching in Prince George's County Public Schools.
I taught United States history at Charles Herbert Flowers High School from
2004-2007. I transferred to Laurel High School and taught LSN
Government from 2007-2010. I am currently in my first year at Fairmont
Heights High School.
When I am not at school I enjoy watching sports. I am a big fan of the
Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions, Detroit Pistons and the Detroit Red Wings.
In my spare time I also enjoy playing golf, reading science fiction novels,
playing video games (currently playing LA Noire and All Points
Bulletin: Reloaded), and hanging out with my family.
I have been married to my wonderful wife Tiffany since July 2005 and have
been the proud father o
f my daughter Sophia since May 2008. Our family also welcome Julia on
July 20th, 2011. I also own a little chocolate lab
by the name of Cassie.
I love using technology and I welcome parents and students to contact me
whenever they have a question. All my email goes directly to my cell
phone and I try to respond as soon as I can.
